Organization Details

Embrace of Celebration is a community-based program that provides basic necessities to low-income individuals and families living in Osceola County, Florida. The primary emphasis is to assist those living in hotels along Osceola County’s 192 Corridor adjacent to Celebration Florida with food, basic necessities and housing.

Due to high rents and the increasing prices of food and basic necessities, many families are feeling the financial pressures of living on low or minimum wages. The mounting stress of providing for their families causes depression, but even worse, the loss of hope.

Embrace has three programs that work together to support our community including outreach, youth and events.

Impact Story

Embrace of Celebration gives hope and shares love and compassion with one another. By providing tangible support and help, our goals are to reduce depression, crime and addiction, helping individuals get back on their feet. We hope to plant seeds of hope that will multiply.

Our amazing volunteers include local youth groups that meet every Saturday morning to gather toiletry, clothing, and food donations. They distribute these to struggling families along the 192-Corridor living in hotels. Each bag of goods distributed also comes with a comprehensive list of local relief groups, including organizations specializing in housing assistance and job placement.

Embrace also assists families cover their deposit and first month’s rent, or emergency hotel stays. Partnering with others, we’ve have been able to furnish apartments for some families moving out of motels into permanent apartment housing.

Success stories include:

·         In 2022, we served 66,403 meals to our families in need, alleviating them from choosing between paying the rent and buying their next meal.

·         Currently Embrace is serving 3,200 people monthly that are residing along the 192-Corridor in motels,  apartments and students and their families. Embrace has partnered with schools with high population of low income students to provide bags of groceries for their families.

·         In 2023 Embrace was able to purchase a new box truck to assist in helping.  Embrace was also recognized by Second Harvest as the Osceola County Agency of the year.

At Embrace, we are building relationships within our community.  We provide information, support, and encouragement by inspiring and empowering one another.  At Embrace of Celebration, we are putting love into action.
