Teamcoby Nigeria advocates and champions sustainable sanitation, menstruation and hygiene management and education in schools and communities nationwide.
We produce #ReusablePad menstrual products to reduce the financial aid environmentally burden that households in low resourced communities bear due to the need for menstrual hygiene
Teamcoby-Nigeria essentially is a social impact enterprise focused on advocacy, community mobilization and engagement through projects that cuts across education, health, environment and livelihood support in low income communities.
Impact Story
We have impacted 3600 girls directly and 12200 indirectly cumulatively with our sustainable menstrual products and through our menstrual health and hygiene education outreaches in 4 rural community schools and these is summarized below : • The impact on girl education especially in rural communities because they now understand menstruation, the essence of menstrual health and hygiene and have access to reusable pads that prevents them from shame from their male classmates. • Reduce absenteeism among schoolgirls • Reduced incidence of disease and irritation from unhygienic menstrual practices among girls • Increased girls presence, confidence and concentration in school and school activities • Curb the spread of taboos and myths associated with menstruation through our menstrual health and hygiene education. • Better knowledge of menstrual hygiene management among the girls who now serve as change agents in their communities
