Organization Details
Finding me community is an organization dedicated to improve the mental health wellness of individuals, more specifically the youth, by focusing on equipping members with self-awareness tools through a community-based approach. This goal is achieved through a supportive community that is coordinated physically by the peer to peer support groups that we have established in universities such as JKUAT and also our e- community platforms that helps both ongoing and alumni members to healthily interact and engage in the different issues that young people are undergoing.Since its establishment in January 2023, Finding Me Community has been able to impact over 200 young individuals who were struggling with mental health instability through both our physical and online programs, workshops and mental health drives
Impact Story
Our motto at Finding Me Community is Sustainability through impact. A statement that is never taken lightly because the organization recognizes the dire need for mental health wellness among the African Youths.Through the different packages offered; identity development, identity search and Identity recovery, Finding Me Community has been able to impact over 200 young individuals who were struggling with mental health instability through both our physical and online programs, workshops and mental health drives.
The Vision of Finding Me Community is to be the leading organization in Africa advocating for mental health wellness through a community based approach will be achieved through ensuring that the programs offered create a community where people can engage from a place of authenticity, vulnerability and openness as a pathway towards self awareness for better mental health.
