At The Max Foundation, we deliver medication, technology, and services to patients facing cancer and other critical illnesses, focusing our energy on those who no one else is helping.
Impact Story
Globally, one in six deaths are related to cancer. Approximately 70% of those deaths occur in low- and middle-income countries. By bringing treatment to the people facing the greatest inequities in access, we can save tens of thousands of lives. Most of the innovative treatments that exist today for cancer are unavailable in most parts of the world. We believe the geography should not equal destiny, so we partner with manufacturers of these treatments and channel them to our network of over 500 physicians in over 75 countries to be given to patients at no cost to them. Our dedicated in-country teams support last mile care using data driven solutions and custom cloud software to connect implementing partners and track individual patient cases, ensuring they are able to access the treatment they need. In the last 20 years Max has helped over 90,000 patients world-wide.
