My company OpenBusiness Africa, a woman-owned fintech has developed a retail trade platform that enables retail merchants to digitize their record-keeping and operations using a mobile-first approach. Our primary channel is a mobile POS app. This is directly related to over 90% of MSMEs in Kenya being informal or operating manually with poor records and are highly cash-driven.
