Organization Details

EnrichHER is a financial technology platform that matches revenue-generating companies led by women and founders of color to individual and institutional sources of funding. Since 2017, EnrichHER has deployed upwards of $4 million through its platform and matched business-owners to $13 million in working capital through its Accelerator. By providing capital, coaching, and connections, we are fueling the fastest-growing demographic of business owners. Our network has engaged with over 23,000 advocates through its digital community and in-person activations.

Impact Story

EnrichHER provides a solution to the disproportionate lack of access to capital experienced by Women-led and Black-owned businesses. In venture capital, men receive virtually all funding, with only 2% going to women-led businesses. Of that 2%, women of color receive an even smaller sliver. EnrichHER is changing that narrative. Since 2017, EnrichHER has engaged with over 23,000 advocates of women-led businesses and has provided $4 million in financing to 86 companies across the United States. Our Business Finance Accelerator Program also equipped participants to successfully win grants, loans, and venture capital from other sources-- businesses in the last cohort received an average of $57,000 in capital.

We believe that providing capital for women-led and Black-owned businesses is the key to economic empowerment, inclusive economic growth, and overall gender equality. Once women and Black founders have a larger role in the economies of our communities, we will be able to build a society that is more reflective of our needs, desires and aspirations. As the number of sustainable women-led businesses increases, society as a whole will benefit from inclusive job growth, as well as products and services that better reflect the input of women.
