Description and Impact

We are an organization that believes in the power of education to transform lives and bring lasting change. Working in Huaycán, Peru, a developing community in the outskirts of Lima, Peru, we strive to offer free after-school and weekend programs in the form of educational support to children, teens, and women.

We're searching for a videographer to join our team on a short-term basis to create a series of impact videos, highlighting the way our organization has personally touched the lives of our participants. We need these videos to clearly demonstrate the impact we know we are having, but know that stats just don't do our impact stories justice.

We're looking for at least five impact videos, 1 minute in length each. Having these videos will help us exponentially to fundraise and to keep former volunteers connected with our programs.

Great for people with videography skills!

We Provide These Local Benefits

Benefits Overview

  • Accommodations
  • Learning Opportunity

We can provide housing for two weeks in our volunteer house headquarters.

Learning Opportunity

We are a window into a grassroots non-profit and what it takes to run an operation that offers thousands of classes a year, with mostly volunteers. A volunteer will learn about Peruvian culture, ethics of volunteering with LLI, and likely learn a thing or two about really good Peruvian food :)

Additional Benefits

We have an onsite volunteer coordinator willing and able to help you get settled and learn about our immediate community.
