Building a sustainable development solution

We are a nonprofit organization working to build innovative solutions to defeat poverty. In West-Africa and particularly in Togo where we are based, we are struggling for a better world for marginalized people. At our organization, we believe that our communities are still in poverty and underdeveloped because they are lacking solutions, based on their needs and daily realities, that are sustainable. So our organization is working to find out a right solution to support sustainable development here.

In August 2019, we have made a significant step ahead by developing a theory of change and strategy plan, and now we need to fund it. But we need additional support on fundraising as we've found that some donors are asking for an intermediate organization to deal with because these donors cannot directly fund where we are based in. We're seeking support to help us to fill the gap and to access donors organizations which could fund our work and projects.

We need a fundraising and grantwriting Experteer to assist us in developing a proposal template, upskilling us on grantwriting best practices, and identifying potential donors to support our work.

To effectively engage young people, local marginalized changemakers and social entrepreneurs, international volunteers and partners into our solution we do need to work on a regular basis so we need to fund our work as well our everyday and office operations as our global project, all as a seed organization. We would like to work on this with an Experteer who has a clear understanding of these matters and who has a good experience in the financial, philanthropic or fundraising practices.
