Project Description and Impact

We work in decentralized biogas technology. The biogas market and especially Compressed Biogas (CBG) market is increasing expenentially. There are many players in the market offering CBG solution to large scale dairy farms. But there is huge potential to provide CBG solution to medium sized dairy farms. The existing technologies in the market are not commercially feasible.

Our technology is feasible for medium dairy farms since capital investment is low. We are confident that we establish ourselves in this segment as a leader as there is no completition. But at the same time it is difficult to scale as there is initial capital investment required which increases the sales cycle. These dairy farms find it difficult to arrange initial capital to invest.

The benefit for these dairy farms is there cow dung gets processed to produce CBG and fertilizer which gets sold in the market. Thus, dairy farms can earn additional income.

We need a strategy to scale this model and enter into this untapped market.
