Project Description and Impact
Kadana has been collaborating with communities to co-create solutions over the past 6 years. Our co-creation model is currently implemented by a core team of five facilitators supported by volunteers and part time facilitators. Our activities are currently growing past our capacity to deliver and we require a decentralized model to be able to deliver quality servce for all the communities we work in. The proposed crowd prototype allows for the kadana co-creation model to be mplemented by communities and designers within their local community and still create the desired impact without necessarily having to stretch our current staff capacity.
Learning Opportunity
An introduction to alternative models for technology and design social ventures with a focus on the grassroots. The opportunity to test technology dispersion models in rural areas and an understanding of rural growth models and the role of technology and design in this growth.
