Project Description and Impact

One Act - Aid for Ukraine is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing immediate, direct personal aid to individuals and families impacted by the war in Ukraine, as well as to those helping on the ground. Using our trusted network, we target aid to those who need it in real-time.

Often with organizations and governmental aid it can take weeks or even months to get help to those in need, while we are on the ground and can distribute needed resources (e.g., food, housing, mental health/counseling, transportation, etc.) immediately. One Act adds to the chorus of aid by helping in a personal, direct way, in the moment.

We are planning to refresh and expand our website and are looking for an expert in CMS-driven web building platforms, such as Squarespace or Wix who can drive the front-end development of this project. As the web development lead, you will drive the build of new pages, in addition to updates to existing pages and other global design elements. You will be responsible for collaborating with our design support to publish our latest content and apply our existing brand identity to ensure consistency with our presence on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.

In addition, you will also be tasked with collaborating with our design support to build templates for eCRM assets, such as our newsletter and Thank You emails.

You will be working with the founder and a team of enthusiastic, hardworking Experteers.

PROJECT GOALS

Clearly communicate the mission and impact of One Act Aid through the redesign of our website.
Increase engagement and donations through improving the web and CRM user experience.
Amplify both success stories of refugees who have benefited from donations and stories of those who are in need of support.
Support other donor communications efforts
