Many guided tours are suspended to reduce the gathering of multiple people to prevent further virus outbreaks. Therefore, while there are still many people domestically traveling, they are unable to learn more about a culture or area without the help of a tour guide. Storius App enables cultural exchange through the sharing of audio stories provided by other locals more familiar with the area based on the user’s location. Thus, we believe this app would revolutionise the tourism industry, as it would allow for contact-free and personalised tourism, a new need that has risen from Covid-19.

Storius connects travelers with places deeper on the way. We encourage travelers to explore what's worth discovering and inspire a community of storytellers to share what's worth appreciating. Storius provides travelers with unique local insights, as the first free crowd-sourced platform for travelers that offer local audio stories. Through Storius, we are preserving traditional culture and heritage, creating a sense of belonging and pride for local younger generations and promoting locally produced products and SMEs.
