A subset of SAP's Acceleration Collective
The Acceleration Collective is a virtual pro-bono consulting program that connects SAP employees with world-changing social entrepreneurs to help them grow their organizations and impact, while at the same time helping you further develop your skills in leadership and social innovation.
Introduced in March 2023 to help you get even more out of the program for your own networking and career development, cohorts are an opportunity to participate in the Acceleration Collective with a group of your peers, in a set time frame, with additional learning, support, and networking opportunities.
Find key dates and an overview of the cohort experience below:
The EMEA cohort will run from October 6, 2025 - December 5, 2025.

The timeline below includes more details about each of these programmatic elements, and suggestions for how to engage throughout the cohort duration:
Attend the EMEA Cohort Kick-Off Event for an orientation and chance to meet the other colleagues in your cohort. This marks the official start of your learning and growth journey together!
During Week 1, get on your first call as a team with the social enterprise you’ll be supporting. Use this time to build rapport, understand their mission, and learn about the key challenges or support needs they’re hoping to address with your help. You can use this Discovery Call Template to structure your first call.
By the end of Week 2, align with your social enterprise on the deliverables you’ll be working on. Use the Experteering Planning Guide (shared by the MovingWorlds team) to scope the project, define responsibilities, and ensure everyone is on the same page about how you'll collaborate moving forward. Refer to Team Guidance: SAP Regional Cohorts for helpful tips.
From Week 3 onwards, begin supporting your social enterprise based on the agreed-upon scope. Schedule regular check-ins and keep communication clear and proactive — setting up calls in advance will help everyone stay aligned and on track.
In the final week before the Wrap-Up event, begin closing out your work. Document your contributions clearly and provide a handover plan that enables your social enterprise to continue building on the progress you've made.
Wrap up your project based on the end date you and the social entrepreneur you're supporting agreed to in the planning guide. Once the project concludes, MovingWorlds will send you a follow-up survey to learn more about the impact you co-created, and get feedback on your experience as a skills-based volunteer.
On the w/c December 1 you’ll attend a Reflection & Wrap-Up event with SAP leaders to showcase the work you’ve done and the impact you’ve made.
