We are seeking projects from social enterprises that have previously been a part of Reckitt’s Fight for Access Accelerator and other social impact initiatives, in order to continue our relationship and deepen our partnership.
Reckitt is open to all kinds of projects to fulfill our social enterprise partners’ needs. The only limiting criteria is that the project be completed virtually, not in person.
All employees will volunteer virtually for their projects. However, we will also make sure time zones and language are not barriers to your project’s completion with our volunteers.
No. We are trying to make the Accelerate Hub as widely accessible to Reckitt employees as possible.
As a multinational health, hygiene and nutrition
company, Reckitt employees offer a diverse mix
of skills. Here is a sample of the general
support they can offer your social
enterprise:
50 Reckitt employees will be participating in the Accelerate Hub.
The Reckitt volunteers will represent a cross-section of Reckitt at a variety of levels, from a diverse mix of roles and responsibilities. If your project requires a certain level or role, please flag for MovingWorlds during project registration and we will make every effort to match your project with an employee that has the skills and experience you need.
Social enterprises will register their project and Reckitt employee volunteers will register their skills on the MovingWorlds platform. Employees will be encouraged to proactively search out projects that match their skill set and contact social enterprises to see if they are a match. MovingWorlds staff will also help step in and match projects and volunteers if there are signs social enterprises or employees are not connecting or locating matching projects.
Yes. Social Enterprises are welcome to request introductions to employees whose skills match their project. As with all projects for the Accelerate Hub, the decision to work together will be mutual between the social enterprise and the Reckitt employee.
We will make every effort to find a Reckitt employee with the skills you need. If none of our volunteers’ skills are relevant to your project, MovingWorlds will introduce social enterprises to suitable employees from other companies participating in volunteer programs on their platform.
We will make every effort to match your project with a Reckitt employee that has the skills you need for two weeks of dedicated support. If that is not possible due to reasons beyond our control, the MovingWorlds team will match you to suitable employees from other companies participating in volunteer programs on their platform.
Employees will have 8 hours/month for a period of six months dedicated to completing their projects.
We sincerely hope this will not occur – but we understand sometimes there can be unforeseen circumstances or we may not create the right match between employee and social enterprise. In that case, MovingWorlds will help resolve or reassign projects to ensure that the project is completed with a different Reckitt volunteer or will introduce the social enterprise to suitable employees from other companies participating in volunteer programs on their platform.
Yes. Social enterprises will need to ensure that the project can be completed virtually and are prepared to onboard employees to the project, introduce them to relevant colleagues, train them on necessary systems, manage their priorities, respond to questions, and offboard at the conclusion of the project.
There is a brief survey to complete at the end of each employee’s project with your organization to ensure your organization’s needs were met.
