Social Impact Project for Leveraging Systems to Further Bay Area Impact - Zendesk
Project Description and Impact
The pandemic has affected all aspects of our organization. You can help - Improve staff usage of the current systems would greatly improve staff efficiency, and time management. We currently use Zendesk for internal IT, HR, Marketing, and Finance functions. We would like to expand our usage of Zendesk to include supporting our direct student program. This opportunity would create a pilot for two departments: Student Services and Internship Services. The Student Services team consist of MSWs that provide wrap around services to our young adults; these include referrals for housing, food, health care, childcare, and other resources. Internship Services provides ongoing support to interns during internship; including checking in with corporate managers, additional skills training, professional updates, and more.
This opportunity would enable someone to project lead this pilot and help us strengthen our direct support to students.
Voted one of the Best Nonprofits to Work For in the country by The NonProfit Times for eight consecutive years, our organization is a rewarding place to work. Our staff is passionate, supportive, mission-driven, and committed to positive change and continuous learning. We set high standards for both ourselves and the young adults we serve, and live by a set of core values that reflect an unshakable belief in the talent and full potential of our young people. The work we do is life-changing, and we know that our team is the greatest asset in achieving our mission.
