Project Description and Impact

Catalyst for Change (C4C) operates three core programs: Teach for Change, The Empowerment Plan, and Community Engagement, all aimed at empowering marginalized communities in Vietnam.

Under The Empowerment Plan, several key events need additional funding to ensure consistent operation:

Hope Express delivers essential items to single mothers and their children, symbolizing hope and support.
Voices of Resilience provides a platform for single mothers to share their life stories, building community and emotional resilience.
Our Women Documentary Series captures the stories of single mothers, raising awareness and inspiring action.

With more funding, C4C can sustain these impactful events and expand support for vulnerable women and children, ensuring lasting change.

Learning Opportunity

By working with Catalyst for Change (C4C), the experteer will gain hands-on experience in the non-profit sector, particularly in fundraising, strategic planning, and community engagement. They will have the opportunity to work on real-world challenges such as raising capital, developing impactful programs, and creating sustainable growth strategies for an organization focused on education, empowerment, and social change.

Additionally, they will:

Learn about the unique social, cultural, and economic dynamics of Vietnam and how they influence community-based programs.
Gain insight into the process of building strong donor and investor relations, from crafting compelling pitches to securing funding.
Experience collaboration within a diverse and dynamic team, working remotely across borders and cultures.

This project will provide the experteer with valuable skills in non-profit management, strategic development, and cross-cultural communication, while making a tangible impact on C4C’s mission.
