Social Impact Project for Creative Videographer

Project Description and Impact

Duties and Learning Opportunities:

 

  • Shooting and editing a series of 10-15 short videos on batik techniques, daily life of seamstresses, product videos + 1 company presentation video (our story, business philosophy, etc). Videos will be used for promotional purposes: social media and company website.

  • Ensuring that project is completed on time

  • Opportunity to make a difference by working with women from low-income communities

  • Experiencing a different culture and build cultural awareness

 

Internship Qualifications:

  • Background in videography; applicants should be enrolled in Communication/Broadcasting/Digital Media School with an emphasis on Videography and/or pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in something similar.

  • Knowledge of/experience in the fashion industry or fair trade fashion movement is a must

Skills:

  • Technical skills in video editing programs, digital cameras and audio equipment (own equipment preferred)

  • Creative flair and artistic ability

  • Conceptual, creative, self-starter

  • Time management and organizational skills

  • Eager to learn

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Flexible and adaptable, with great problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Open mind, curiosity and patience

Non-Kering Employees - This opportunity is available for a duration of 2 months minimum. A RM1000 monthly stipend will be provided.

Accommodation

For Kering Group employees, accommodation will be provided close to the work location for the duration of your 2 week Solidarity Leave. 

For all other applicants, A RM1000 monthly stipend will be provided (for a minimum of a 2 months).

Living Stipend
