Social Impact Project for Content & Social Media Expert for our Social Media Channels
Project Description and Impact
One Act - Aid for Ukraine is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing immediate, direct personal aid to individuals and families impacted by the war in Ukraine, as well as to those helping on the ground. Using our trusted network, we target aid to those who need it in real-time.
Often with organizations and governmental aid it can take weeks or even months to get help to those in need, while we are on the ground and can distribute needed resources (e.g., food, housing, mental health/counseling, transportation, etc.) immediately. One Act adds to the chorus of aid by helping in a personal, direct way, in the moment.
We are looking for a Content & Social Media Manager to manage our usage, presence, and communications on social channels and our website. This experteer will be responsible for creating our social media strategy, as well as the tactical implementation of that strategy, including being the primary person in charge of our presence on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and any other relevant channels you advise.
You will be working with the founder and a team of enthusiastic, hardworking experteers.
Increase awareness of One Act Aid and our mission. Broaden our reach amongst individual and corporate donors by driving website traffic.
Drive donor acquisition, increase engagement and increase donations through our organic and (potentially) promoted ads on our social media channels.
Amplify both success stories of refugees who have benefited from donations and stories of those who are in need of support.
Provide reporting/analytics on social media performance.
Support marketing efforts in other areas.
By participating in the MovingWorlds Institute, you will first learn social impact frameworks and human-centered design before putting your existing skills and new knowledge to action.
This project accepts virtual experteers.
