Impact Story

PEPA acronym stands for Plaideurs des Enfants et des Personnes Agees AND in English: Pleaders of children and Elderly People At risk, founded in May 2007 in Goma in the Democratic Republic of Congo with the aim to promoting the human rights, health care, Youth and women Empowerment, protect and support vulnerable children including war orphaned children, children living in streets, children in poor living condition, provide assistance to women victims of rape and human rights violations,

Advocacy and Lobbying for policy reforms that protect the human dignity

Since January, 2017 PEPA/ngo DRC is in a Special Consultative Status within the United Nations ECOSOC

And awarded the 2017 regional HIV, TB and Human Rights Award in East and Southern Africa by the regional organization called Aids and Rights Alliance for Southern Africa (ARASA)
