World Tech Makers unleashes human potential with coding bootcamps and video games in emerging markets. We offer beginner-focused on-site bootcamps along with blended training with www.bootcamps.online, technology education for children with www.nativo.digital and remote work job matches with our soon-to-be-launched app called Remoto.
We just completed and won MassChallenge (MIT´s accelerator) and launched our program in Medellin, besides working in Bogota, Sao Paulo, Santiago and the USA.

Impact Story
We started back in 2014 after realizing there were no coding bootcamps in the region despite the tremendous amount of potential Latin America has to offer. With a backpack full of books, the decision to dropout from my master´s degree and the determination to launch World Tech Makers, I returned to Colombia, my hometown, after almost 8 years of absence. I had the chance to meet Ilya, whom had also studied in the USA and was now in Brazil doing social impact work in the favelas of Sao Paulo. It was a no brainer when we spoke about the impact we could create with the program if we were able to pull it off.
Almost 18 months after, we have been able to train over 150 students. Many of them have become software developers, many of them successful entrepreneurs. With pilots in Chile, Brazil and Colombia, we now aim to consolidate our results, positioning the startups in the markets we are at - besides launching in Argentina and Mexico.
Besides the on-site training, we want to offer other alternatives: online training with LIVE classes and accessible content 24/7 - www.bootcamps.online. And because we believe in the power of children and their creativity and wit, we are launching Nativo Digital (www.nativo.digital) in the next month, as our first effort to make programming mandatory at the national level throughout Latin America.
