Together, with the community serving as the driver, and COPRED serving as the facilitator we:
• Promote increased access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene by drilling boreholes and wells.
• Provide new knowledge on family nutrition, reproductive health, child protection and HIV treatment care.
• Promote increased access to home and center play-based learning through early childhood development services for children aged 3 to 9 years.
• Promote conservation farming to food availability and uptake uptake of nutritious diets.
• Promote economic empowerment using village savings groups to raise capital for small businesses
Impact Story
Together, with the community serving as the driver, and COPRED serving as the facilitator we have:
• Increased access to safe and clean water, sanitation and hygiene in 6769 households.
• Increased knowledge about family nutrition, reproductive health, child protection and HIV treatment care to 13158 individuals.
• Increased access to home and center play-based learning through early childhood development services for children aged 3 to 9 years for 2008 children.
• Supported 9771 families with knowledge, skills and inputs in conservation farming to food availability and uptake uptake of nutritious diets.
• Increased opportunities for self-employment to 4741 individuals using village savings groups to raise capital for small businesses
