A Precious Child provides children in need with opportunities and resources to empower them to achieve their full potential. We have three focus areas: Basic Needs, Enrichment Opportunities and Workforce Readiness. From providing basic essentials like clothing, hygiene items, food, diapers and more, to backpacks with school supplies and gifts for the holidays, from opportunities to participate in sports, arts and educational activities to a workforce readiness program to equip young adults with skills and experience for a successful career, we aim to empower kids to succeed today for a thriving society tomorrow.
Impact Story
In our eight-county service area, more than 300,000 children are living in need—facing barriers that make it harder for them to succeed. That’s why we are committed to providing essential resources and opportunities that support children and families from cradle to career. Each year, we serve 50,000 children annually and 14,000 caregivers across the Denver metro area, ensuring they have the tools and support to build a brighter future. With the dedication of over 7,000 volunteers and partnerships with more than 300 Agency Partners, we work together to create a stronger, more connected community.
