Tenoli was founded in 2014 to help micro-businesses grow in a sustainable manner through partnerships with the public and private sector, direct personal interaction and presence in the field.
Tenoli's mission is threefold:
Inform and Capacitate the micro-businesses
Equip the microbusinesses with the resources they need (mainly technology and capital)
Give access to more business opportunities and help them diversify their portfolio

Tenoli launched its pilot project in Iztapalapa, Mexico City, in February 2015 with 150 Mom&Pop stores. We opened a first physical center where the mom&pop stores owners have access to workshops (capacitation), resources (technology and capital) and more products (business opportunities).
Tenoli's triple impact:
- Business impact for the mom&pop stores: direct impact on sales, margins and income
- Social impact for the mom&pop stores and their families: access to better social services (as micro-insurance), higher income for the family
- Global impact for the community: higher employment and better set of products available in the mom
