Impact Story

Tenoli launched its pilot project in Iztapalapa, Mexico City, in February 2015 with 150 Mom&Pop stores.  We opened a first physical center where the mom&pop stores owners have access to workshops (capacitation), resources (technology and capital) and more products (business opportunities).

Tenoli's triple impact:

  • Business impact for the mom&pop stores: direct impact on sales, margins and income
  • Social impact for the mom&pop stores and their families: access to better social services (as micro-insurance), higher income for the family
  • Global impact for the community: higher employment and better set of products available in the mom
