Impact Story

CLISSD  is an NGO working to  empower and improve lives of poor and vulnerable people especially women, children  through education, regenerative agriculture /sustainable agriculture, sexual reproductive health education, and menstrual hygiene management.

Since 2012;

CLISSD has empowered over 800 women ,small holder farmers and youth by training them in organic farming .Providing them with small loans and farm inputs to set up farms . Raised awareness on climate change and organized climate-smart sensitization. Trained farmers on organic fertilizers from kitchen/restaurant waste. CLISSD initiated 1200 tree planting program in 6 community schools and trained pupils as young climate ambassadors in Fako division, Cameroon. Organized and engaged communities yearly to celebrate global climate change week every October using stories, dramas, arts and traditional dances. We advocate against the use of pesticides, chemical and synthetic fertilizers.
Currently set up 2 reusable pads training center in kake and Buea to reduce environmental waste and pollutions.
Constructed regenerative agriculture and donated regenerative agriculture training center where farmers practice and learn regenerative agricultual practices to increase food security,reduced hunger and fight climate change.
