Radical Health is a health equity tech organization that empowers communities to navigate the healthcare system through culturally grounded, justice-centered care models. Its work focuses on transforming lived experiences into leadership and equipping individuals—especially those from historically marginalized communities—with the tools, knowledge, and support needed to advocate for themselves and others in healthcare settings.
Impact Story
Radical Health exists to radically reimagine healthcare—starting with the people it has historically left behind.
We were founded on the belief that health justice isn’t just a value—it’s a necessity. Too many communities, especially those that are Black, Brown, immigrant, undocumented, low-income, or justice-impacted, face systemic barriers to accessing care that is culturally relevant, trustworthy, and truly supportive.
Why We Exist
Radical Health was created to:
Address the deep inequities in healthcare access, quality, and trust.
Center the voices and lived experiences of people who are most impacted by health disparities.
Bridge the gap between individuals and complex healthcare systems by building trust, improving navigation, and fostering community-rooted solutions.
Our mission is to empower communities to own their healthcare journeys through peer-led conversations, culturally competent education, and leadership development—because no one should have to “health” alone.

- We reduce emergency room visits and drive enrollment in services like Medicaid, prenatal care, and behavioral health—helping people get the care they need earlier, more affordably, and with dignity.
