AquaMet provides an Integrated system for fish farmers to reduce high mortalities caused by poor water quality management. Through a smart water quality probe and a mobile app, fish farmers receive daily notifications and recommendations on their water quality status and conduct data driven actions to prevent mortalities which causes over $100m worth of fish annually.
Impact Story
AquaMet exist to make aquaculture sustainable and profitable. Through our robust solution, fish farmers are able to reduce losses, increase their revenue and yield by over 45%. Also as fish loss contribute highly to methane emissions, thus for every 1kg of fish that ends in the landfills, over 2.5kg of Methane is emitted into the atmosphere, we contribute significantly to prevent this harmful greenhouse gas by reducing the amount of fish loss during production.
