Organization Details
Founded in 2017, EldoHub is a technology and innovation hub dedicated to empowering young people and fostering digital transformation in Africa. The organization focuses on equipping children (ages 7–17) with coding skills and training youth and women (ages 18–35) in digital skills, preparing them for local and international job markets. By bridging the skills gap, EldoHub addresses unemployment challenges through hands-on training, mentorship, and practical job placement support.
Additionaly, EldoHub plays a crucial role in fostering job creation within the digital economy, particularly in rural areas, by supporting entrepreneurship, skill development, and business digitization. The organization collaborates with Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), tech startups, and government entities to stimulate demand for digital jobs. This approach ensures that businesses access skilled digital professionals while young job seekers find meaningful employment opportunities.
Impact Story
EldoHub has 17 projects successfully implemented across Africa, EldoHub has impacted more than 10,000 individuals, 65% of whom are young women. The hub partners with 35+ county governments and utilizes 63 innovation hubs to provide co-working spaces and promote government accountability through digitization. EldoHub’s job linkage programs have gained international recognition, positioning Kenya as a key player in the global digital workforce.
