Impact Story 1- The Flight to SYSTEMIC Leadership
Nauman Sharif, a pilot and educator, dreamed of flying among the clouds but found his true calling in education after completing the Teach For India fellowship. He became a teacher, principal, and eventually the Academic Director at Meridian High School, a low-income private school in Hyderabad.
As a new school leader, he sought support through the Rehnuma Program. At Meridian, Nauman noticed that many teachers lacked the tools to provide quality education. Under the guidance of his Rehnuma coach, he began developing solutions and ultimately launched SkillUp—a teacher training program aimed at integrating technology, improving classroom culture, and enhancing student outcomes. He now works with 80+ teachers from 11 schools.
His journey is a powerful example of how systemic leadership can drive transformative change in education.
Impact Story 2- AYESHA KI ASHA
Ayesha, a student from Malwani, grew up in a community where girls were rarely encouraged to play cricket. Yet, she dared to dream of joining her school’s cricket team through The Right Pitch. With determination in her heart, she practised tirelessly in the narrow gullies, sought advice from her TRP coach, and pushed herself to improve. Over time, she not only became a skilled player but also grew into a confident leader and a dedicated teammate.
When we spoke to her parents about her journey, they said, “Never in our wildest dreams did we think we’d be part of something like this.” Ayesha’s small asha of playing cricket has now become a shared hope for her entire family. Her dream of becoming a cricketer inspires
everyone around her.
