Revmake is an energy tech company that focuses on repurposing and recycling electronic waste to create innovative and eco-friendly products. Our core mission is to address environmental challenges associated with electronic waste while providing affordable, sustainable energy solutions.
We specialize in repurposing lithium-ion batteries from electronic waste to produce items such as power banks and rechargeable emergency LED bulbs. Additionally, we create products using new lithium-ion batteries as well, including laptop power banks and portable power stations, to serve diverse energy needs.
Impact Story
Revmake exists to combat the growing challenge of electronic waste (e-waste) and energy access disparity. In Uganda, like many parts of the world, e-waste poses significant environmental and health risks due to improper disposal, while millions lack access to reliable and affordable electricity. Revmake bridges these two challenges by repurposing e-waste into valuable products, creating sustainable energy solutions, and educating communities on the importance of responsible e-waste management. Our innovative approach not only reduces environmental harm but also provides underserved communities with tools to improve their quality of life.
Through our work, we have positively impacted off-grid households, schools, and small businesses by providing affordable power banks, rechargeable LED bulbs, and other energy products. These solutions have enabled students to study longer, businesses to stay operational during power outages, and families to enjoy reliable lighting. Moreover, by salvaging components from e-waste, we’ve diverted significant amounts of toxic material from landfills, promoting a circular economy.
