The organization provides tech-enabled tools and resources that inspire cultural exploration of all 54 African countries. Through the use of technology, storytelling, cultural exchange, and travel, Connected to Culture, Inc. builds community while advancing social equity, education, health, economic growth, and sustainability.
Impact Story
Connected to Culture exists to bridge the gap between the African continent and its global diaspora by fostering meaningful cultural exchange, education, and sustainability. In a world where narratives about Africa are often one-dimensional, we offer a tech-enabled platform that highlights the diversity, history, and innovation of all 54 African countries. By connecting individuals to the Motherland through immersive experiences, language translation tools, and educational resources, we empower communities to reclaim cultural identity, strengthen cross-continental ties, and promote global understanding.
Our impact spans multiple areas, including education, health, and economic growth. Through initiatives like the Educator Wellness Program and Food Sustainability Program, we equip educators and local communities with the tools they need to thrive. We’ve partnered with urban farms to combat food insecurity, provided resources for educators to incorporate African culture into their lessons, and supported students in exploring their heritage through study-abroad opportunities. By leveraging technology, we make cultural connections accessible, enabling individuals to explore, learn, and grow in ways that resonate globally and personally. Connected to Culture is more than an organization—it’s a movement driving unity, equity, and sustainable development across continents.
