Afrixyz For SDG2 Global Youth Initiatives Platform empowers refugee and rural youth in Uganda through sustainable agriculture, entrepreneurship, and community-driven solutions. Our mission aligns with UN SDG2 by promoting food security, ending hunger, and fostering sustainable farming practices. We provide hands-on training, mentorship, and market access to enable young farmers to grow organic produce and connect with national and international markets. Through annual summits, international conferences, and knowledge exchange platforms, we foster innovation, collaboration, and scalable solutions to support marginalized communities. Our work creates equitable food systems, empowers youth, and promotes sustainable livelihoods.
Impact Story
Afrixyz For SDG2 Global Youth Initiatives Platform exists to address the dual challenges of youth unemployment and food insecurity, especially among refugee and rural communities in Uganda. Many young people in these regions face limited opportunities, while farmers struggle with low yields, poor market access, and unsustainable agricultural practices. We empower these youth by equipping them with entrepreneurial skills, sustainable farming techniques, and market connections to produce high-quality organic foods. Through our initiative, we foster self-reliance, enabling young farmers to generate income, contribute to local food security, and uplift their communities.
Our impact extends beyond individual empowerment to systems change. By facilitating knowledge exchange through annual summits and international conferences, we drive collaborative solutions and innovation. One success story involves training refugee youth in organic farming and linking them to urban markets, leading to increased income and improved community nutrition. We have empowered hundreds of young farmers, promoting sustainability and economic resilience. Our vision is to create a new generation of youth-led agricultural enterprises that address hunger, build food systems, and improve livelihoods across Uganda and beyond.
