We believe providing communities with sophisticated, human-centered technology is an effective tool on the path to achieving a more just world, where universal health coverage is a reality and health is a secured human right.

Medic's mission is to advance good health, human flourishing, and equitable care for and with the hardest-to-reach communities. We build and apply open-source digital tools that help health workers deliver just, quality care to their neighbors and community.
As we face the stark reality that one billion people alive today will never see a healthcare provider in their lifetime, Medic’s mission could not be more pivotal. Without systemic change in community healthcare delivery, millions will continue to die each year of preventable and treatable diseases.
Medic has reached over 100 million caring activities since monitoring of this metric began in 2014. This represents an awe-inspiring number of moments of care provided by Community Health Workers (CHWs) to families in last mile communities. We equally celebrated the expansion of the reach of the Community Health Toolkit to a global cohort of close to 76000 CHWs, as a result of rapid project expansions in Kenya, Mali, Nepal, Uganda, and Togo.
We have made tremendous progress in advancing the cause for Universal Health Coverage. We envision a more just world in which health workers are supported as they provide care for their communities, where universal health coverage is a reality, and health is a secured human right – for everyone, everywhere, always.
