We are experts for IT-Refurbishment

We pick up used IT from companies, which we refurbish for reuse after certified data deletion. That way we extend the product life cycle, conserve natural resources and reduce emissions. Our partners benefit from professional services, key figures for their sustainability report and attractive discounts for their employees. We are certified according to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 27001.

Inclusion at work is a matter of course for us. For our successful social & green IT concept we were awarded, among others, the IT-Distri Award Gold for Refurbishing & Remarketing 2022, the German Sustainability Award 2021 and Europe's Social Enterprise of the Year 2020.

Leading the Way in ReUse and Inclusion

AfB Group is redefining sustainability in the IT industry by prioritizing ReUse over recycling. Our mission addresses the challenges of electronic waste and inclusive employment, proving that environmental and social responsibility can go hand in hand.

ReUse for Sustainability

In the past year, AfB processed 666,000 IT devices, refurbishing 70% of them. This approach significantly reduces e-waste, one of the fastest-growing waste streams. Our efforts saved 66,000 tons of CO2 emissions, 252,300 MWh of energy, and 480 million liters of water, showcasing the environmental benefits of ReUse.

Promoting Inclusion

At AfB, inclusion is key. Nearly 48% of our 660 employees have disabilities, demonstrating the power of inclusive employment. Our diverse team operates across five European countries, making a substantial social impact.

Recognitions

AfB's commitment to excellence has been recognized with the German Sustainability Award three times: in 2012 for sustainable future concepts, in 2021 for social impact, and in 2024 for our repair services.
