Sustainable Africa Energy Scenario: In 2022, the IEA outlined the Sustainable Africa (Energy) Scenario, envisioning that by 2030, one-third of homes will use LPG, 10% will use electricity, 10% biogas, and 6% alcohol fuels. However, 41% would still rely on solid biomass. Achieving this scenario requires a monumental effort to improve clean cooking access in sub-Saharan Africa.
