Organization Details

Resilience Action International is an NGO based in Kakuma Refugee Camp, Kenya and Goma-DRC. We are a youth-led non-profit dedicated to empowering displaced youths living in East Africa through vocational education, entrepreneurship, and well-being

Impact Story

.

As a refugee-led and youth-driven organization, our mission extends beyond merely equipping displaced youth with skills for economic empowerment. We are committed to fostering a sustainable economy and a climate-conscious workforce. Over the past 14 years, we've trained more than 10,000 youths in Kakuma, with a significant emphasis on green jobs and sustainable livelihoods. The impact of our efforts is evident: over half of our alumni now engage in sustainable income-generating activities, including green jobs that contribute positively to the environment. Through our vocational education programs, we not only prepare students for employment but also emphasize the importance of climate-conscious practices in their chosen fields.
