For over 20 years Latinitas has been delivering high quality culturally relevant STEAM based curriculum to over 40,000 students across central Texas and around the nation. While other organization are just now at the start of their journey to diversity programing, audiences and leadership, Latinitas has been leading by example for 20 years turning up the dial on representation with inclusive curriculum reflective board and staff leadership and really world examples.

WHAT DOES LATINITAS DO?
Through after-school clubs, camps, and conferences, plus our publications and media channels, we provide a space, both physical and online, for girls to express themselves, develop their skills, learn about their culture and discover their unique voice.
WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF LATINITAS?
Latinas are underestimated and underrepresented. It’s time for Latinas to know that they are important; they deserve to see their experiences reflected honestly and accurately.
WHY IS LATINITAS FOCUSED ON YOUTH?
51% of Latinas get pregnant at least once before age 20 – compared to the national average of 35%.
