Young Change Agents

A Non-profit

Organization Details

Young Change Agents (YCA) is a nonprofit social enterprise that empowers young people to identify problems, reframe these as opportunities, and develop solutions with an entrepreneurial lens.

We are a nationwide social enterprise that has been empowering young people through entrepreneurship since 2015.

YCA delivers face-to-face educational programs, teacher development programs and our own proprietary technology. Our range of education programs develop the entrepreneurial mindset, skillset and toolset of young people aged from 10 to 25, giving young people the independence and opportunity to exercise leadership, make decisions and collaborate with peers, community and industry.

Our aim is to make an ongoing, sustainable impact on young people, schools and communities, meaning a continued focus on growth and scaling our impact for the years ahead.

Impact Story

The way we look at education is being reshaped by a changing world.

Today, innovation and entrepreneurial thinking are admired. But soon, these skills will be vital to how we live, work and learn.

Young people will be expected to recognise opportunity, take initiative and innovate in the face of challenges.

And we have a responsibility to help them prepare.

We know that an entrepreneurial mindset elevates student potential. Students become flexible, adaptable and communicate better. They persist in spite of failure and turn problems into opportunities. Armed with these qualities, young people can lead economic growth, improve health and create social change. They can develop skills that advance their careers, as well as their community’s long-term wellbeing.

But entrepreneurial skills don’t come from a textbook. They’re taught through collaboration, real-world experience and continuous improvement.

Young Change Agents is leading the way in youth entrepreneurship in Australia.
