Organization Details
Show and Heal is a nonprofit organization established in 2016 by a public school teacher to build resilience in youth through mindfulness and self-care education towards the expression of their most authentic selves. At Show and Heal, we envision a world where every child belongs, as we foster a future where similarities and differences are embraced and mindfulness and self-care education are accessible to all. We strengthen holistically the mental health of adolescents so they can show their authentic selves in the world, and heal their communities.
Our programs include 1) an afterschool Self-Care 101 program for high school students 2) diversity celebration via social media 3) interviews and documentaries that break stereotypes 4) international study tours 5) diversity trainings and mindfulness facilitation.
