Organization Details

YouthHubAfrica is a non-profit organization founded in 2011. YouthhubAfrica is a platform for young people in Africa involved in social change to interact, learn and collaborate in new, creative and easy ways. It was registered in Nigeria with the CAC in 2014. YHA is a youth advocacy and policy-oriented organization based in Abuja, Nigeria, but programming into Africa and beyond.

The organization has worked with stakeholders to provide advisory and technical support for development communications, the use of social media to drive advocacy and campaigns as well as structuring youth engagements on a national and regional level. In line with this principle, YHA has staff and volunteers, who are mainly young people, working at the headquarters in Abuja, and with volunteer presence in Lagos, Uganda, Kenya, Ethiopia and Ghana.

Impact Story

YouthhubAfrica is a frontline youth advocacy and policy-oriented organization
programming for Africa and beyond. Africa's Fast Growing Demography represents a huge need for Youth Inclusion in policy formulation and execution as well as social change
to balance disparity and inequality predicted by absence of adequate quality education,
sexual reproductive healthcare, skills and opportunities for African youths. YouthHubAfrica has in the been able to link young people across Africa with opportunities, Provided platforms for Young leaders to champion sustaiable development across the continent. 

Our work on ensuring fadequate funnding and access to basic education which include guality and safe education in Nigeria contirbuted to the domestication of the Child Right Act Kaduna state in Nigeria with advocacy currently onoing in many other Northern states.
