Organization Details
Incuba ONG was founded in Mexico City in 2018, to respond to the need to strengthen and articulate newly created community organizations, in order to increase their impact and ensure their long-term sustainability. That is why we developed the Incuba Model, which consists of a 12 to 18 month accompaniment for groups that want to become a legal entity or newly created associations. This training program covers the most important aspects for the proactive development of institutions.
Impact Story
The newly created organizations face various barriers to develop and achieve sustainability, from the little information that exists of the complex legal and fiscal processes to formalize the institution; the obstacles to obtain funding, because they do not meet the minimum requirements of most donors; and the lack of access to free or low-cost personalized advisory services on the processes and responsibilities involved in the operation of a non-profit civil association.
We are still a newly organization and we are piloting the methodology. So far, we had work with four organizations and we are opening the first call for proposals on October, where five organizations will be part of the Incubator for a period of 18 months.
We want to contribute to a stronger civil society, capable of achieve high and longstanding impact in their communities.
