Studio Coppre is a social impact brand working towards preserving and promoting heritage crafts by retaining traditional crafting techniques and designing contemporary wares. Our products are meant to enhance homes and identities of people through their rich cultural narrative. Our aim is to be a sustainable social enterprise which brings metal and other artisanal craft and artisans of India into the mainstream by designing, marketing and promoting crafts to world markets, thus creating a sustainable livelihood for our stakeholders.

Impact Story
Studio Coppre provides livelihoods to 200+ artisans. We identify, train and work with different clusters (mostly in the metal domain). Recently we have also started working with handloom weavers and women in embridery self help groups along with artisans practicing basketry. We enhance their skills and create market linkages so that they have a source of sustainable livelihoods and lead an enriched life.
We have nurtured the spirit of entrepreneurship among the artisans. Many artisans have become entrepreneurs and have set up their own units with soft loans for facility up gradations from Studio Coppre. Small time artisans have now set up full-fledged units with business inputs/knowledge sharing and funding.. We have also been responsible for a paradigm shift in the way the artisan clusters are remunerated. Our artisans get 30-50% higher remuneration for products crafted for Coppre. We are also enhancing the overall growth of the community by encouraging the youngsters to take on the legacy practised by their forefathers.
