Description and Impact

We're a social business focusing on luxury craftsmanship and showcasing the skills and traditions of craftspeople. Founded in 2013, we work with over 100 artisans from women’s cooperatives, indigenous tribes and refugee groups, across six states of Malaysia.

By combining traditional artisanal skills with modern, contemporary design, we celebrate Malaysia’s varied heritage art forms and unique cultural narratives while advocating conscious consumption, preserving heritage skills and culture, and engaging in ethical partnerships.

We're looking for an Experteer to support our partnership development efforts and connect us to an international audience.

Deliverables

  • Help us develop an market entry plan to US distributors, ethical retailers, etc.
  • Develop a partnership building strategy with companies and brands that support refugees and other marginalized communities

We're looking to start as early as June 21st onsite if possible but can be flexible with remote support before or after your onsite dates.

Other requirements

We are open to the role of the experteer. We would love to have someone who is willing to execute the project or as a team member!

If you are experienced in working with retailers and boutiques in the fashion / accessories sectors, that would be an added advantage.
