As with most conferences, the best part was the networking and people, but from a content perspective, three key messages resonated loud and clear:

1. When it comes to doing well while doing good, collaboration between enterprises will do more to accelerate social good - that said, competition in these areas should be welcomed and will fuel innovation. The BCLC's International Business Corps is a perfect example.

2. Enterprises that align their for-impact activities with their for-profit activities will not only do more to tackle social and environmental challenges, but will see more benefits from it, too. In essence, creating a virtuous cycle of  being more prosperous, allowing it to do more good.

3. Nothing is perfect. Both the BCLC and businesses were quick to point out that the same challenges facing global development are facing corporations trying to support global development. Only be networking and sharing can we help each other learn and make a bigger impact, faster.
