Social Impact Project for Community & Partnership Development Expert to Help Us Expand Our Impact

How This Works

In the MovingWorlds Institute Global Fellowship, you will learn how to advance your for-good career while getting hands on experience on projects like this one.

Project Description and Impact

Founded in May 2017, e-NABLE Medellín is a non-profit organisation in Colombia with big ambitions: to use the power of 3D printing to help victims of the country’s landmines, and others in need, by providing free, personalised, prosthetic limbs. The aim for this project is to raise awareness of our organisation amongst other organisations across Colombia who work with amputees, those effected by the armed conflict etc, essentially those who may be looking for prosthetics.

We would like to map out which organisations exist in this space across Colombia and form alliances with such organisations in order to raise awareness about what we do and how we can help. We then may form a communication strategy with these organisations to plan working together in the future. This will allow us to reach more people across Colombia, and keep consistent links with other organisations who can provide us with recipients looking for prosthetics so that our technology can be put to its most impactful use.
