Opportunity Details

We are a management strategy and investment advisory firm that specializes in helping to grow and scale businesses in emerging markets.

We are looking for a crowdfunding professional to lead the design, launch, and promotion of a crowdfunding campaign helping female entrepreneurs and their families in Iquitos (Peru) to continue their business training and expand their ventures. You will be in charge of every aspect of the design and promotion of the campaign to help us raise the money. You will be responsible for producing a video to explain our project, writing press releases, get influencers excited about the project, create effective incentives and run the campaign. You will be working on the field in the Peruvian Amazon to know these impressive women and helping us tell their story to the world!

Great for people with crowdfunding skills! Interested but not the right length? Like this organization and have an idea how your skills can help? Message us at:

We are looking to raise USD 160,000 to extend the operation of the Business Center (BC) for an additional 9 months and finish the project. The money will go to the administrative and staff costs associated with operating the BC.

We Provide These Local Benefits

We can provide accommodations in Iquitos for a maximum of two weeks.   You will have access to a very nice private bedroom in a shared apartment.

We will provide 3 meals a day. Peruvian food is very exciting, especially in the Amazon jungle! Even though the jungle kitchen is not as elaborated as that of the typical Peru food of the coast, they do have some very special and typical dishes that are definitely worth a try. Especially “Juane”, a dish made of rice and chicken, but boiled in banana leaves so it becomes a sort of tamale (corn dough stuffed with chicken, typical Andean dish). Dishes served with rice and beans or lentils are legion and with the many rivers, it is no surprise that fish is part of the daily jungle diet.

Beyond just the volunteer work for the campaign, you will know firsthand the possible initiatives and tools that can be used to help people out of poverty. This project is focused on comprehensive empowerment for women, given that they lead the SMEs associated with the project. The development of entrepreneurial skills, which directly transcends to an increase in family income for these women, is also a mechanism to increase their self-esteem and transform them into agents of social change that can promote a more equal and friendly future for their children.

We will provide airfare from Lima to Iquitos! No excuses not to join us now!
