We think this is an exciting project for the experienced education professional to support social services in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

As a Volunteer Teacher with our organization, you will be placed at one of our community centers located all around Malaysia. Our community centers place a focus on educating and empowering the underserved communities in Malaysia, and this is exactly what you will experience as a Volunteer Teacher! Our placements are 4-7 months in duration, including a 1 month period of training and job shadowing. Locations of our community centers range from rural jungle villages to central areas of Kuala Lumpur, so we're sure to have something that fits you.

Specific responsibilities of the position include supporting the Community Centre Manager, making lesson plans, assisting with classes, and participating in community engagement events.

The impact of this project will be the development and advancement of an underserved community in Malaysia, and specific deliverables are as follows:

We Provide These Local Benefits


Our accommodations vary based on the location of the community center, but they often provide a basic, yet comfortable living arrangement. Accommodation will usually be private rather than shared, and include a bedroom, private bathroom, and living area.


We provide RM500/month to Volunteer Teachers to cover the costs of food and basic living necessities.
