PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND IMPACT

We teach a wide range of skills to local entrepreneurs, as well as being a model farm that facilites trfacilitates technical skills and good agricultural and wildlife management practices.

This project aims to transform and develop our current facility further into a Skills Development Centre. To act as a training facilitator and to help our social enterprises to host training sessions during the curriculum development phase.

DELIVERABLES

Our Development Centre will help to train a group of young Namibian entrepreneurs to become facilitators and instructors for the Development Centre. Your role will be to facilitate this process, train the trainer and coordinate activities.

ACCOMMODATION

As this project is essential for Skills and Property development we will provide free accommodation to a group of 4-8 Expertees.The Academy has 9 on-suit boarding rooms and 9 chalets, kitchen and dining facilities 

 

LEARNING OPPORTUNITY

Cultural interaction - opportunity to learn from the expertees of stakeholders/other experteers and to learn from and enjoy the diverse setup that our establishment and our nearby Capital city Windhoek offer. Experience our outdoor facilities and the variety of Wildlife on a rugged  mountain area. Experteers can enter in some of the training courses that are currently provided by the Centre at the basic cost of such courses.

Our Establishment is typical Namibian – Open, diverse and Friendly –The 35 ha premises includes:

FACILITIES: The Centre has 9 on-suit boarding rooms, 9 chalets, an outdoor swimming pool, kitchen, dining room, and laundry + an Organic vegetable garden in process.

With Electricity and Internet connection

Language: We speak Afrikaans and English.

Population:

Domesticated:  4 Cattle, Chickens, ducks, and cats, Managers couple: (Ben + Linda) and 2 staff members.

A variety of Wildlife on a rugged  mountain area.
