We think this is an immersive project for the seasoned human resource professional to support health in Mexico City, D.F., Mexico in exchange for a living stipend

Opportunity Details



We are a Mexican social enterprise specializing in eye-care for the base of the pyramid. It is committed to providing high impact, low cost and high quality treatments to fulfill its mission of eliminating needless blindness in Mexico. We are a for profit social enterprise whose model is inspired by Aravind, the non-profit Indian eye hospital which is the largest eye center in the world. We have grown quickly in the last year and currently have 10 clinics around Mexico City and over 190 employees.

We  are launching an Improvement project around our employees' experience and satisfaction and looking for a short term volunteer with human centered design and/or staff engagement expertise to join the Core Team assigned to this project.


Advanced spanish required as the project will involve interviews with staff.

A small living stipend will be provided during time on the ground in Mexico City.

Starting March with planned project end July but candidates who are available for shorter durations will be considered as we are most interested in your expertise at the front end of the project.

Minimum stay of 6 weeks in Mexico City at project start required (collaboration can end there or can continue via remote work). 

The position will report to the Directors of Continuous Improvement and Human Resources.

Hi, Since the expert will have to interact with employees who do not speaks English it is important that you have at least basic level of Spanish
