Opportunity Details

PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND IMPACT

Our program staff in rural Ghana deliver inspiring health, education, and girls' empowerment successes on a daily basis. Telling the stories of these successes can however be a challenge, with standard reporting of Monitoring and Evaluation data rarely doing justice to the true impact of our interventions. As such, we are looking for a videographer who can tell our story in a more compelling and visual way, both in terms of our organisation's achievements over the past 12 years, but also capturing the impact of our current health, education, and girls' empowerment work.

DELIVERABLES

Ideally we would love the project to result in a new GHEI introductory video for our website's homepage, as well as a select number of videos showcasing the impact of our ongoing programs which could include our access to education initiatives, our maternal health program, and our work on girls' empowerment.

We Provide These Local Benefits

ACCOMMODATION

Private accommodation is provided, with shared (but very discreet) showering facilities and kitchen. The accommodation is located extremely close to the main GHEI office, which sits at the heart of the community we serve.

LEARNING OPPORTUNITY

This opportunity will provide exposure to and a better understanding of the range of key health, education, and girls' empowerment interventions we deliver. As such, the experteer will see first-hand how our development activities make a positive difference to local community members' everyday lives.

ADDITIONAL BENEFITS

Upon arrival the experteer will be taken on a private tour of the local village. The tour will provide an opportunity to meet local community members, as well as to explore the key services (health and education) and industries (agriculture) in this beautiful corner of western Ghana.
