Opportunity Details

PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND IMPACT

Our website is in need of a professional polish and user-interface upgrade. Specifically, as well as updating and generally tidying up our website we are keen to explore the potential to offer a charity gifts page on our website where visitors can purchase small gifts, with the money raised helping to support the health and education work we do in rural Ghana. Through the website enhancements we hope to provide a more user-friendly online face to our organisation, helping us better inform the wider world about our work and also enhancing our fundraising and networking efforts.

DELIVERABLES

Our desired project outcome is an upgraded website with a user-friendly charity gifts page site which our local staff can easily maintain and update after the enhancements are completed.

The project will combine both in-country and remote working. Due to slower internet access in Western region, Ghana, part of the web-developing process could be facilitated remotely where there is stronger internet. However, it is still important for the experteer to meet the team in Ghana to talk through the new website's content and for staff training. The combination of remote to in-country working can be discussed further with an interested applicant.
